1988-95 chevy truck neutral junction box The truck will start and run, but only has 2nd and 3rd gear. I think there may be a blown fuse, but the only fuse box I can find is on the lower left side of the dash, and all the fuses in that box are good. Is there another fuse box on the truck . As I start to get information on the wiring of these of trucks I have learned that it has a mechanical neutral safety switch. I messed with the ignition key and it is true, it only turns in park and neutral. My 88 suburban used to slowly crank but would never start. I thought it could be a fusible link issue so i replaced the link at the alternator, the smaller link at the starter solenoid and the link at the junction block.

Any one have a diagram of what does what on the firewall junction box? I am thinking frame to thermostat housing would be better. I know the alternator mount needs a solid ground though.
