bronco ii power distribution box Im looking for the Electrical Schematic diagrams for the Under hood Power distribution block. Not the fuse or relay layout. Every link I've tried shows the layout of the fuses and relays or the link is bad. Metal boxes, especially with romex, are a PITA: more sharp edges, more time to make up, clamps in box etc. The contractor wanted me to talk directly to the H.O. about it so I thought I would see what possible reasons you guys come up with to use and not to use them.

(The fuse box has as many as 5 more, and one of them would be the trailer marker lamp relay.) You'd need to pull the main connector at the ECU & the cab connector as well as the connector leading to engine (c103) with the bolt that holds it to the box it's self. The clips that hold c103 to the frame is easily broke & it's a trick to get it loose.

Plastic boxes are far superior for NM cable wiring simply because the don't conduct electricity. Plus they are less expensive and easier to install. Some people think plastic = cheap.
