2010 mustang battery junction box The High Voltage Battery Junction Box (HVBJB) is located inside the sealed battery pack, and is used to “switch” the high voltage leaving the pack on and off. This internal switch is necessary for safety. If the armored cable is BX without a copper ground, use a metal junction box and attach the Romex grounds to the metal box preferably with a ground screw and pigtail (stinger). BX cable, more properly known as Type AC, does not have a copper ground. It .

I have a new battery, and when I start the car, sometimes the radio, and signals, don't work, and anywhere from 5 to 15 minutes later, my blinkers start to work. I haven't taken .
What Is A Smart Junction Box, What Does It Do And Can I Replace It Myself. Also Where Is It Located In The Car? List of elements for 5.4L Supercharged, Engine Performance Wiring Diagram (3 of 6) for Ford Mustang GT 2010: (battery junction box) charge air cooler (cac) pump (dash panel to headlight junction harness, near breakout . About six months ago, it developed a parasitic drain (130 ma) which was killing the battery every few days. By process of elimination, I was able to trace the drain to the SJB . I have a 2008 Ford Mustang. My issue is the AC CONTROL HEAD has no power. Bought a new AC CONTROL HEAD, that wasn't the issue. I had water coming in on the driver side floor board for a long time. Was able to fix that problem after weeks of looking and research. I wanted to ask could the Junction BOX be the issue as to why my AC isn't coming on?

On the 2005 it is located in the Battery Junction Box, fuse number F1.21 and it is 15 amp rated. Hope this helps. Mike I have a 2006 FEH with 51k miles. Itermittently, my car won't start. There is a clicking noise in the engine and I have to shift from Park to Low 3-5 times before it will start. Then I discovered the back up lights weren't working. The ford tech says the smart junction box needs to be replace and my battery is bad. High parasitic (no key) battery current drain. 240mA all the time. The problem is battery dies when car isn’t used in more than a week. Not a problem if driven every day. I measure battery current and found parasitic drain current to be 240mA or 0.24A of constant draw. The car spec on AlldataDIY is 50mA max.
By pulsating I mean that out of every 10 seconds of time I have a draw of 200mA for 9.5 seconds and then for 0.5 seconds there is an increase of 50mA draw to give a total of 250mA. I disconnected all 3 connectors at the alternator with no change in draw. I then unplugged every relay and fuse 1 at a time at the battery junction box under the hood.

Junction boxes protect electrical wires from damage, prevent shocks, and stop sparks from igniting flammable material nearby. To install one, you’ll need to strip the ends off all the wires that will be in the box. To complete the electrical circuit, tie together the same-colored wires and hold them in place with wire nuts.
